Ex0 : The hunt for the photograph is over !

Here was the description :

In the foreground, on the right hand side, there is a woman. She is speaking in a microphone. She is making a speech. She is wearing hoop earrings and a polka dot shirt.

In the background, in front of her, there are many people. Several of them are taking pictures of her. One person, in the middle, is taking pictures of the crowd.

The woman could be protesting for the Civil Rights Movement.

Here is the photograph :

This is Angela Davis (born – 1944). She is a really cool Black Activist who fought (s'est battu) for Black Rights and Women's Rights. And she is still (toujours) working towards (vers) Equal Rights for all !

Ex1 : Complète avec 'there is', 'there are', 'there was' ou 'there were'.

Dans la phrase 4, les 2 sont possibles, selon le contexte de la phrase.

Ex 2 : Traduis les phrases en français.

Dans l'ensemble, c'était plutôt bien réussi ! Good job !

1. He is speaking Spanish but I don't understand.

   Il parle/est en train de parler Espagnol, mais je ne comprend pas.

2. She was playing Fortnite, when I arrived.

   Elle jouait/était en train de jouer à Fortnite, quand je suis arrivé.e.

3. On that picture, American flags are moving in the wind.

   Sur cette image, les drapeaux Américains bougent dans le vent.

4. In February, many politicians were campaigning, but now, there are only two.

   En Février, beaucoup de politiciens faisaient campagne, mais maintenant, il n'y en a que deux.

Oh ! Cette dernière phrase ! J'ai beaucoup ri de vos erreurs. C'était mignon. J'ai eu des policiers qui faisaient du camping, à un moment. *italian chef kiss MWAH*

Le plus important étant d'essayer ! Les erreurs sont importantes.
